R.A.W Fabrication & Customs has been 10+ years in the making. Rob has had a passion for fixing, building and customizing anything with wheels and a engine since he was a kid. Always taking things apart and putting them back together just to see how it worked. Throughout the years Robs interest in the custom automotive field only continued to grow.
After graduating high school in 2012, Rob attended Automotive Training Center in Exton PA, In the body and Collison program, though body and Collison work was not something Rob had much interest in pursuing, it got his foot in the door at a well recognized restoration shop in Malvern PA (Richard Mullin Coachbuilding), just two weeks after beginning at ATC. There he apprenticed under Richard Mullin part time while he was in school, then continued on to work for him full time after graduation. This is where he developed his love for creating by hand. Robs welding, machining, and sheet metal layout skills really started to hone in, along with extreme attention to detail and the true art of metal shaping. Projects ranged from Rolls Royce, early Ferrari's, Porches and Lamborghini just to name a few.
In 2018
Rob moved to his current home in Bucks County PA, after commuting back and forth to Malvern. He took a huge leap and started a new path at a local restoration/hot rod shop. Finally getting to dive into the American muscle & hot rod world. While working there, Rob had the opportunity to really expand on the custom and fabrication side of the industry. He assisted and completed many restomods, roll cages, custom exhaust, chassis and suspension modifications, full rewires, motor swaps and much more.
In 2021 Rob started at The Vette Shop, where he is now heading the fabrication department, and continuing with restoration work. Through all these experiences Rob has always wanted to start a shop of his own bringing all of these skills together in one place. Mid 2021 Rob was informed a local shop space became available, and R.A.W Fabrication & Customs was born.
